Angel has been knocking it out of the park lately, despite the exit of David from their slate of upcoming films, and from the looks of it, so is the new King of Kings animated film from South Korean animation studio, MOFAC Studios. Reportedly this is why the film was made for such a cheaper price ($15mil) in comparison to so many of the domestic-made nightmare-fuel films from Disney, or Dreamworks, or BlueSky, which can cost as much as $250 million. Often a foreign-made film can be completed for a fraction of the costs they are made for here.
And now the film finally arrived tonight, Thursday April 10th.
But what about the story? When the brilliance of the story device was revealed to me, that being... the retelling of the story of Christ from the mouth of Charles Dickens to his own son, I was enchanted. Then I also learned that Dickens did this very real thing (telling his own family the story of Christ during each Christmas time) during his lifetime, it was even more compelling to me, as something to wonder about and to imagine what this film would be like to watch.
I will see it, but in the meantime, some reviews.

This appears to be the perfect film for parents to take their kids to see a film that expresses the true gospel and the story of Christ. And it might even have some laughs and some opportunities for discussion and great family time.
