Heading Into Election Season, A Song Called 'Liars, Cheats, & Crooks' By Five Times August Seems Appropriate

That's right, the modern protest songwriter extraordinaire, Five Times August, has unleashed upon us another incredible hit. And at such an appropriate time!

I like his use of older footage in this video. It calls into question just how long our own nation has been living in lies and deceit. Do we even have the full picture yet of how deep in the mire our nation's leaders have sunk to?

Will we ever see great American leaders again? Or is this the final curtain on our once pristene and powerful nation? Does power really come from the barrel of a gun, as so many of our current leaders think? Or does moral authority have more to do with it? What has happened to our morals?

Many of these questions we can’t answer now. But we can attend our ear to God, and think about what has truly happened to our nation.
