'Ordinary Angels' Goes to the Red Carpet for their Theatrical Release on February 23rd

Kingdom Story Company is releasing Ordinary Angels, starring Hillary Swank and Alan Ritchson (Reacher), on Friday February the 23rd. Many have described this as a high quality faith-based film. Deadline calls it a "true faith-based family drama" with a "passionate performance" by Swank. Even Variety complimented the film, by saying "cynics will be won over by the human kindness on display." This comes immediately after calling it "manipulative" in its "techniques."

That's likely the best you can expect from Hollywood. So, take it as a major compliment.

The film's producers, Jon & Andrew Erwin (aka the Erwin Bros), head up the Kingdom Story Company, who have begun to not just direct movies, but also are growing a larger slate of films to produce. Before this they've directed a film about every year, but since 2023 they've produced Jesus Revolution, and Ordinary Angels, and coming soon are Unbreakable Boy, Unsung Hero, and Dallas Jenkins' upcoming The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

So, this "Story Company" are not skimping on their productivity here. Along with Angel Studios, Kingdom appears to be the best producers of quality faith-based film, which is showing in both companies increased numbers of projects on their slate. There are other competitors, but both of these guys take the cake.
