Yoshi Barrigas, whose exit from The Chosen (after playing the disciple, Phillip) many mourned, will be starring in the film 47 Days with Jesus, about a retelling of the final days of Jesus, while his family is left in the lurch during the modern day.
He plays a father (Joseph Burdon) who is caught between his work and home duties. Catherine Lidstone, who played Mary (sister of Martha) in The Chosen also joins the cast as Joseph's wife, Juliana Burdon.

Opening in the U.S. on March 11th in over 800 theaters, Pinnacle Peak releases the film with faith-based regular, Fathom Events. Pinnacle has also repped and distributed the God’s Not Dead franchise, Andrew Hyatt’s The Blind, Sight & Sound’s I Heard the Bells, Kirk Cameron’s Lifemark, and D.J. Caruso’s Redeeming Love.
