The Chosen has captured the hearts of so many around the world, invoking us to “pay it forward” and purchase free views for others who cannot afford to pay for the show. The release strategy has been an inspiration to watch, and especially the show itself has been a most welcome respite from the stresses of the pandemic from last year and the challenges of our world now.
This kind of inspiring show can give us the knowledge that God is doing a new thing around the world through these kinds of God-inspired media. Check out Angel Studios and you’ll know what I mean. They are doing far more than just fundraising and distributing The Chosen. Season 3 of the show is almost complete, the feeding of the five thousand was reportedly filmed successfully, and new challenges and growth opportunities continue to happen in the lives of these beloved archetypes of the faith, including Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Peter. The show “The Chosen” reveals these giants of faith to be once mere men with petty concerns, just like us, and also makes Jesus himself more relatable, more grounded, and more like somebody whose garment hem you might yourself reach out to touch, in search of healing.
For any of you who have never seen the show, it is offered on multiple platforms, Roku, Amazon, and on it’s own app which can often stream straight to your television through live-casting technology. If not, search for it online and you will find it playing somewhere, often for free. Consider “paying it forward” for others who cannot afford it. Enjoy the livestream and watch with confidence that this show may literally change your life.
